The Korean
War was fought between the communist forces of North
Korea and their allies in China and the USSR, and the
United Nations taskforce consisting of troops from many
countries.
Over the
course of nearly four years the front line moved down
into South Korea, was pushed back north nearly reaching
the Chinese border and then edged back to almost its
original position before the peace settlement re-established
the border at the 38th parallel.
This collection
of resources uses a range of sources, mostly from a
one-sided perspective, to offer new insights into the
propaganda campaign that was waged during the war, and
is supported by tasks and materials suitable for students
aged 14-18+ and their teachers.
