The websites listed here are provided as examples of
what can be found using the term Korean War to
search the Internet. The opinions and content provided

as with all web based material it is important for teachers

is the official, public access web site for the Department
of Defense commemoration of the 50th An the Korean Contains

Frequently Asked Questions and a search facility. There
are links to other sites in a section of the pages.
In
particular the History section is useful and
an overview of the war is presented here, with an excellent
glossary and chronology, bibliography, biographies,

The
Historical Documents section offers the texts
of major documents relating to Korea, especially related
to tensions with North Korea. The material includes
several of the major agreements from the Korean War.

collection of pages was designed to offer information
about the Korean War for teaching, learning and research.
There is a very interesting account of the treatment
and involvement of Black Americans in the US Army drawn
from participants' memories, oral and written accounts
