Technology requirements for the Virtual Voyage:

This interactive exercise is created using Macromedia Shockwave, and to use it you will need the lastest Shockwave plug-in installed in your browser.

For most browsers, if you do not already have the current version of Shockwave it should install automatically when you first view the page containing the Virtual Voyage - but note that this may mean that there is a significant delay before the application begins while the plug-in loads. Note that this delay will not occur on second and subsequent uses of the Virtual Voyage.

If you have any problems installing or using Shockwave, click on the link on the right to go to Macromedia's Shockwave download area, then return to this page to run the Virtual Voyage.

If for any reason you are unable or do not wish to install the Shockwave plug-in, there is a paper-based version of this activity in the Classroom pack, available from the Teachers' Notes area of this project.
